I'm giving up my day job, thank you very much

I've been playing around with portraiture, over the years I've had a few friends ask if I wouldn't mind taking some snaps of them and along the way I've kind of overcome my awkwardness of having to ask a person to 'work it baby' in front of the camera.

I won't lie - it feels really strange to give someone instructions on how to pose, when you're busy trying to sort out the actual photo you want to take. But recently I was at a friend's house and there were some really cute kids playing around so I got a bit snap happy. Kids just love the camera, you don't have to ask them what to do, you just let them run amuck and get a million great snaps in the process. I can see why children's photographers enjoy their jobs so much. And the prize at the end is pretty rewarding. These little girls were so adorable I couldn't resist putting these pics up here.
