Back in Bloom

Well, that's been a big break, hasn't it?! After what I think has been about 2 years of hiatus, I decided to come back to the Sprightly Observer and give it some love. Since the last post, I've jazzed up the blog a bit (yay!) and it's now part of a bigger web experience which is pretty cool.

In the spirit of rebirthing, blooming.... or whatever other metaphorical nature words come to mind, I thought I'd focus this post on some of my favorite lush green shots of the wilderness found right here in the Bay Area.

Green also felt especially fitting, given this weeks' St Patrick's Day celebrations. I've never been one to get into the shenanigans, but 'mee mo'er an mee wee granny' and are Irish. Well, and so are all the people on my mum's side. I guess that makes me somewhat Irish also then. Here's a toast to the Irish!

PS: Isn't that shot something straight out of the Wizard of Oz, following the yellow brick road to Emerald City?
