About ME

Thanks for stopping by!

This is The Sprightly Observer. It's a photography journal of sorts, a collection of experiences I've been fortunate enough to gather.

I'm Kylie, the person behind the shutter. My dad gave me a Minolta 35mm camera when I was a teenager, not long after my family moved to from Spain to Australia. It was his way of helping me find something I could throw myself into & fit in faster. Clearly, it stuck! Since then, my gear has changed, but my love for it is just as strong.

I don't shoot as much as I'd like, but I go on binge sessions every now and then! The Sprightly Observer was born as a way of helping me share the world through my lens.
