I was in San Francisco the day before the Super Bowl, and sadly I had to catch an early morning flight out on the Sunday of the big game. Luckily  that didn't stop me from getting a sense of what the crazy atmosphere was going to be like when the 49ers took to the field. But it wasn't all football. San Francisco puts on a show, no matter what.

I succumbed to the tourist trap of the tramway, but it's too cute to pass up. And in all honesty, I really appreciated the ride up those massively steep hills. I didn't see a crazy car chase (which is what I was secretly hoping for more than anything), but I did get a good day to wander around town. BTW, I have NO idea what those people on segways were doing....
