Fit for a King (or a Queen)

How lucky was this guy? For those of you who haven't been to the Chateau in Versailles, do yourselves a favour and find a way to get there... fast.

The palace itself is breathtaking (because of its size and its beauty) but the gardens are out of this world. I walked for hours and hours on end in those gardens, each corner was ridiculously more beautiful than the one before.

I even stumbled into this massive pond/lake thing with fountains that were synchronised to the classical music that was being played through the garden PA system. Obviously, not historically accurate, but still!

If I had a back yard like this, I don't think I'd ever leave my house. Perfection.

Windy City

The weather has quickly turned chilly, and with it have come out the transeasonal clothes. 

So, I did my best Inspector Gadget impersonation and ducked in and out of the labyrinth that is the Chateau at Versailles to get some Autumn freeze frames. To the voyeur in everyone!
