So I've been a bit of slacker getting pics up of NYC. Sorry - but I've just been having too much fun!


This pic was taken from the highline park, a park built on top of a decommissioned railway line that floats above the NY streetscape. So awesome, but so very, very busy.


What I love about New York is that it truly is a city of villages. Every little area is distinctly different from the next, which makes it really easy to 1) get distracted 2) get distracted and 3) get distracted.

Therefore, we've done lots of walking. In the pouring rain. Yep, it was torrential rain when we got here. I had to throw away a good pair of shoes because they got so waterlogged. Then, of course I HAD to go buy a pair of Hunter gumboots. They're green (so cute!). Going to suck brining them home on the plane...
