Ripe and juicy by Kylie Fuentes

In my experience, when you're wandering around aimlessly and have no real place to be or sense of where you're going, you stumble across the most incredible surprises. Like this place. It was some random local market full of fresh produce, seafood, meat and flowers. A hustle & bustle vibe was what drew me in, but once inside it was the gorgeous merchandising of the product and the big smiles of the shopkeepers that kept me there.

Getting lost in Santa Teresa by Kylie Fuentes

Santa Teresa is a neighbourhood in Rio which has the most incredible bohemian feel to it. The streets are cobblestone, the houses are semi-rundown gigantic mansions from in a 1500's style portuguese architecture and junk meets art.

I could have spend days meandering around the streets of this town, every corner you turn there is something fascinating to look at. There is a tram line that runs through the heart of the neighbourhood, which still operates on weekends. Restaurants and shops are tiny with loads of character, and the people are genuinely lovely.
