Today is Sunday and it's usually a day of slow starts, cafe breakfasts & rusty heads from the night before. I'm feeling kinda mellow, so I'm indulging in the chance to go nuts with sepia monochrome. In the words of the great Lionel Richie, here's some easy like sunday morning pics to relax into brunch.
Falling in love in Haight Street? Surprisingly easy! /
One of the places I most enjoyed exploring on my last visit to San Francisco was the Haight-Ashbury district. This is a photobloggers nirvana; colour, contrast, characters and contradictions... all just there for the taking. Even for someone like me who is like the energiser bunny, you can't help but feel a little overstimulated here. Between the strong stench of weed, the random things for sale in these shops, and the endless parade of truly unique characters walking down the streets, there's always a surprise in store. Which, as you'd expect, means I absolutely love it :)
Even the homeless people in this part of town were showing their artistic credentials. Check out the plum coloured boots hung up in all their glory on a street garden!
