Shipwreck Ahoy! / by Kylie Fuentes

There is something about the coastline, right? Doesn't matter if the water is grey or blue, calm or tumultuous. It still makes you feel like a million dollars. We wandered around the coast in Northern California and found some of the most picturesque landscapes i've seen in a while.

Also, if I'm blunt. The most random. Yes that's a shipwreck on a sandbank in someone's backyard (or right up against it). But that's not the crazy stuff. I didn't take a pic (shame on me) but there are some crazy ass houses in this part of town. Like an house on plinths over the water with an Indian temple inspired architecture. I don't even know how to explain that monstrosity. It was an ambitious project I'm sure, and in concept it sounds wonderful. But in reality, it was an eery eyesore. But, nonetheless its in a killer location!

PS: If you head out that way ever, make sure you stop in for some fresh shucked oysters from one of the great places up near Hogs Island. Yum doesn't even being to explain it.
