Yeah, okay. I was very lucky. I've been told that Wellington is usually a cold and miserable place (just the weather, not the people!) but it really put on a show for me.
Lured by the promise of the opportunity to wear my best winter coats & the funkiest fedora hats, I came prepared for the cold. But I didn't end up getting it. Wow, did Wellington put on a show. The sun was beaming, the cider was flowing, the music was pumping and the flowers will still blooming.
I'm not much of a horticulturalist, but I can stop and admire the light reflecting of some of the gorgeous natural landscape. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.
