Life's a beach (or a washing machine) by Kylie Fuentes

It has been longer than I'd like to admit between posts... sadly. I think I went into some kind of winter hibernation, in denial that I've come back to the real world and that I am no longer footloose and fancy free. Drag, drag, drag. To console myself, I took some pics of my front yard (or close enough)... I suppose it is pretty incredible :)

Next holiday???? Not sure yet, but I'm sure it'll be full of great adventures and photos to prove it! Short list includes Africa, travelling through the US or Vietnam/Cambodia. I'm thinking Africa could be a taker... I'm a bit of a sucker for awesome culture and crazy animals :)

Everybody loves a Llama by Kylie Fuentes

Inside the Machu Picchu grounds you randomly stumble across Llama. Now, I know nothing about these animals so I wasn't quite sure how to take it. I mean, they have long necks, look like they are a sheep crossed with a camel and have an unmoving stare like they're part lion.
But turns out they seem to just be curious, so I managed to avoid getting into a wrestle with a wild animal on this occasion. Phew. Oh, and one thing that was quite funny (and ironic)? Our new friend, the tour guide? He's pictured below. Last name? Llamas. Cracked me up.
